[RSS Feed/News] adjusting size of MG embedded image(s) when using toolbar embed button?

I embedded several pictures from my gallery into a forum post using the associated toolbar button, but they were all full size. Is there some way to have them embed as thumbnails and open in the light box like normal attachments?
