I want to create a new addon that should do something on the birthday of an user.
I have seen some addons working with a cronjob to check the birthday and send a mail or create a thread,
but all of them use a cron job.
So my question is: Is there any function in xf checking the birthday of users "today"?
If so i can extend that instead starting another cron_job.
