I am looking at Xenforo as a modder news/forum site.
Basically I am going to have like ten categories that people can post in.
Three of which when someone posts on I want it posted on the front page news that anyone can post on [would like to have to authorize posts].
I searched to see if anyone else did this and couldn't find it so I am including this picture to explain.
I want to use a layout like this one but..

I want it to grab the first image + excerpt...
