[RSS Feed/News] Can't get Adsense advertising to appear above or below node list

[XenForo]

I have Adsense banner ads on my site. Using the "advertising" menu, I have placed them above and below thread list, and they are working perfectly.

However, when I take the exact same code, and place it above and below node list, I can't get any ad banners to display.

Any help?
