Support Domain+ hosting for Xenforo

Good morning, I’m writing from Europe, Italy. I’m a woman quite new to the world of XenForo and not very experienced with technical things, but I would love to publish my first forum. Could you kindly suggest a good hosting provider (domain + space) at a fair price, which would allow me to run my forum safely, without worrying about sudden removals or legal problems?

Hi :) Any web provider that provides a cpanel will do. For example, Namecheap or Godaddy - shared hosting is probably fine, unless your forum gets huge. If so, you can move it to a VPS. You would need to make sure you know how to install such a forum on a shared server. Namecheap has good support and can probably help if you get stuck. You would only get removal or legal issues if you were doing something illegal with your forum.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I plan to install XenForo, which I downloaded from here, for a small hobby site. If the site grows, I will purchase a license to avoid any issues.
I’m thinking of a domain on Namecheap with WHOIS privacy, which will point to Cloudflare, and Cloudflare will then point to the hosting.

Hiya, yep, that's a good plan. If you're quite capable of doing stuff regarding websites and domains, you should consider getting your SSL via Cloudflare for free (it lasts 15 years). If you are REALLY capable, you could set up a Cloudflare bucket to store your images, so the Xenforo script posts directly to it. If you're just a small site though, it's probably overkill to do that. Best of luck with it all :)
