Sometimes people are making problems and posting at wrong places and wrong things

I wish to ban them from posting (threads) for like 1-2 days or more

Is there some add-on or option for it?

Hmmm I found those useful but how can I stop someone from posting and show him a custom overlay message thet he broke this rule and cant post till 1-2 days like that.....Bcs I dont want to keep banning them it would create more problems

I think why don't you use the warning function, like when they violate something, a warning will be sent to them, violating more than x times will be permanently banned

Well I do use that but I think they're not taking it seriously so if I can teach them a short good lesson they won't mess up again (maybe)
