I am giving example of this forum to explain my problem. In this forum, there are four tabs of the top menu - Forums, What's new, Resources and Members. Now if I want to make 'Resources' page as my home page (default page), how can I do that? Now, why do I need it? I need it because I am trying to make a full-fledged e-commerce site using Xenforo and Dragonbyte E-commerce plugin. So, I need the 'Shop' tab to be my default home page.
Please help me friends.

Create resource section. Configure rights, disable display in the nodes, in the URL of the home page specify a link to the section and put in the public navigation.

Setup > Option > basic Option;

Index page route : put your resource page

If you wish to change the default index page of the forums, you may enter the route path here. The route path is the section of the URL to a page after your main forum directory URL, such as forums/ or pages/page-name/. Do not reference a route filter here.

If i read your question correct, yes you change forums/ to resources/ where to find ACP > setup > options > basic board information > index page route. change forums/ to resources/

2nd choice you may use an add-on XF2 [8WR] XenPorta 2 (Portal) PRO 2.2.0.7 read more here (if allowed)

How do I make my articles list the index for my forum? Read more HERE

Admin CP: Setup > Options > Basic Board Information
Index Page Route: ewr-porta/

How do I rename the "ewr-porta" sub-directory to something else?

How do I make my articles list the index for my forum?

Admin CP: Setup > Options > Basic Board Information
Index Page Route: ewr-porta/

I have tried both on test forum and the porta was better as you can leave resource alone or not use and feed your main page from threads.
