[RSS Feed/News] Lots of redirects

[XenForo]

We are having a problem with 5 or more redirects. The seems to have got worse after 1.5 to 2.2 upgrade. We seem to have a lot in our .htaccess and we also have a old .htaccess from upgrading from VBulletin.
