Without this plugin, when you click a toast notification either at the bottom of the page (posts) or in the OS (web notifications), you navigate to that element, but the counter on the notification icon doesn't update and the notification remains marked as unread. This plugin fixes this behavior so clicking on a toast notification marks that notification as read - it will no longer appear in bold in the notifications list and the notification counter will be decremented by one.
