I think that there should be an option to sort such question-threads by default by votes.
a) at all
b) in a forum
c) in just this thread
I would be happy with a) the rest could be done with an addon, i guess.
From my point of view it makes absolutely sense to have this sort as default, because the ranking is the interesting point.
