Community updated S3 Compatible Downloads with a new update entry:

S3 Compatible Downloads 4.1.0

• Compatible S3 file handlers with a bucket set to use a custom url will always use the custom url and will not be set to use http links. This means any incompatibility with dotted bucket names will need to be resolved on your end but it also means https links will work no problem.
• Settings to force HTTP or force HTTP on dotted buckets only (if there is no custom url set)
