[RSS Feed/News] Test site

Hi,
I am having trouble creating a live test forum,
I followed the steps till

• Edit the the src/config.php file (library/config.php file if using XF1), in your new /test directory and change the database details to match your new test database.

stated in this guide How to duplicate a live site to use as a test site

I don't know what to do next, I tried creating a subdomain for the live test site but it is not working...
