i wouldnt build your site up for SEO just keep making post .. i would more promote your site in social media simply because they dont manipulate with results.. in some time i made tests with 5 domains with 5 domains only 1 which ranked great into search engine and got proper results 4 of them either if they didint indexed at all or so poor results which i got 0 visitors from search engine.
As my experience, page load time absolutely impacts SEO. Google uses it as a ranking factor, especially for mobile searches.
