It will import all categories and downloads (including associated files) from DownloadsII into the XenForo Resource Manager resource.
As DownloadsII allows comments without ratings, unique comments for each download will enter, however they will be entered with a bogus rating of 4 stars. Comments are required such as: Resource Manager only accepts comments by rating.
DownloadsII category and IDS files will be kept and Resource Manager XenForo must contain no entries before import.
This addon requires the following
* Convert Threads to Resources Addon Installed
* XenForo Resource Manager addon is installed
* vBulletin log storage, import effect.
* A temporary forum for creating threads (temporary topics will be deleted automatically
Before running this conversion, backup your site completely and do a test import first! This means everything in your filesystem and database.
If the import fails, you will need to restore your entire site (database and file system).
To run the importer, go to Tools -> Import External Data and select DownloadsII Importer
Importer requires the following parameters:
Archive Log: The archive login was created during vBulletin -> xenForo conversion (Example: archived_import_log )
Node ID: ID of the forum where temporary topics will be created
DownloadsII Attachment Path: The path of where the attachments are stored
MySQL Info: MySQL information for the vBulletin database where DownloadsII is installed.
DO NOT select Retain imported content IDs!
This importer is based on the Xenforo importer framework, you will be prompted to save the import logs when you finish the import. Do not select this option and click Complete Import to rebuild all themes and users.
Once this is complete, rebuild all Categories and Resource Manager resources (Tools -> Rebuild Caches).
