Support duplicate resources

I've been adding resources as users ask for them
Sometimes I don't know if I already published it and I end up publishing duplicate resources sometimes
Finding if it already exists before publishing it can waste time or can be forgotten at times.
I would like to know if there is an easier way to know if that resource has been published
Like something to warn me or inform me of existing similar resources or something like that
