How about a notification if a post is edited? A button on a post for staff to Watch for Edit.
Cases:
You edit a post and the user ends up re-editing. Action: Watch for Edit
You see a new user and you are sure they are a spammer that is going to edit in a hyperlink later. Action: Watch for Edit
