[RSS Feed/News] Old smilies from VB show link not image.

After an import old smilies rom VB show as a link in a thread instead of the image. The old smilies still exist on the server and show if the link is clicked. What is the best way to have Xen show the actual image and not a link? Go from the URL BB code to IMG bb code?
