I've just encountered an issue with a thread URL for a thread with a smart quote in the title:
https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/so-it-appears-barry-hall-only-hits-blokes-when-they-aren’t-looking.1304304/
The ’ breaks the URL when posted to Facebook.
With a normal single quote in the thread title, the URL works fine. The punctuation mark is cleaned out:
www.bigfooty.com
