[RSS Feed/News] User still getting emails after turning notifications off?

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has had this issue yet?
A member has been receiving email notifications for threads after switching receive emails off (both in account settings & alert settings)

Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?
